Software Implementation
Revere Security provides hand optimized assembly level code for the most popular low power micro-controllers on the market. All of the Hummingbird HB-2 software libraries provide the following features:

• Easy to use and integrate into applications
• Small ROM footprint
• Small RAM footprint
• Minimal Stack usage
• Fast execution
• Functions written in assembly language and hand-optimized for all supported platforms.
• All library functions are C-callable and many development environments are supported.
• Operating System agnostic. No OS required.
• No disabling of interrupts. Does not affect interrupt latency.
• All functions are fully reentrant
• 16-bit encryption block size means less padding and overhead required than competing encryption methods.
• 128-bit key size for high security strength.
• 64-bit initialization vector (IV) or nonce (number used once).
• Single pass MAC (Message Authentication Code)
• Various combinations of speed and memory optimized implementations.
